Here at Birdhouse, we heart WordPress, big time. We strongly recommend against Movable Type (any MT installations consuming unusual amounts of CPU will be suspended).

We consider it essential to keep WordPress up to date as soon as new security updates become available. We have built a custom system to automate this process, so you’ll never need to think about upgrades. However, to take advantage of this system, we need to install WordPress for you.

Before installing WordPress on your own, please contact us first – we’re happy to set it up for you. Let us know the domain and/or directory for the installation and we’ll have you up and running in minutes.

For guidance on using your weblog after initial installation, see its documentation, or contact Birdhouse support (weblog consulting aside from initial setup will generally be charged on an hourly basis).
